About

West View Care Home

Person centered residential care

Since our inception we have been providing a home that is a place people enjoy. West View established as a family run home in 1977 has always provided personalised care. Person centered care has always been something we have aspired to, because we understand and respect the uniqueness of every individual. We also pride ourselves on an exciting activities timetable every week, while utilising our mini-bus for engaging and enjoyable outings to local eateries and areas of natural beauty.

Tailored care services

Over time, we have established a variety of options for receiving care from West View, these include sheltered housing; close care semi-independent tenancies within the security of the home environment; and a variety of optional services like day care and a health club. We also offer the option of full residential care. See our services page for more details and an idea of prices.

The Bere Peninsula

Surrounded by breathtaking Devonshire countryside, Bere Alston is a middle sized village nestled between the River Tavy and River Tamar. We are just a stone’s throw away from the quaint market town of Tavistock, and are ideally situated for day trips to Dartmoor National Park, local eateries and many areas of outstanding natural beauty. With a station on the Plymouth to Gunnislake railway line, Bere Alston is the ideal location for relatives visiting from further afield.
